ABOUT COMPANY
Kiswire is a South Korean company, a world producer of steel wire and rope. In the Czech Republic, we are located in the Triangle Industrial Zone near Žatec. From a newly opened factory, we supply tire reinforcements for renowned tire manufacturers both at home and throughout Europe. In August 2017, we started work on the construction of a new production hall next to the bead wire production hall. Currently, rough construction is completed and the main work has moved into the interior. One part of the construction of over 16,000 square meters will be a new canteen and spacious cloakroom for all our employees. The goal is to complete the construction and launch production lines by the end of August 2018, after that we can make the first samples for our customers. Our plan is to start production in the second quarter of 2019. The total production capacity of the first phase will be 8,000 tons per year and the factory will produce in final more than 30,000 tons of steel cord per year to be supplied to the largest tire manufacturers in Europe. We have already begun recruiting new staff and we expect that the first team will make up 50 workers in quality, maintenance and production.
